Hello Friends,
My name is Jen and if I could describe myself in three words I would say that I am a lover, I am passionte, and I am faithful. I am a California native but, I have spent the last four years of my life in sunny Arizona. I recently graduated from Arizona State Univeristy with a B.A. degree in Psychology. Go Devils! I am also an alumnae member of the Delta Zeta Sorority. I must say, Greek life really enhanced my college experience positively, and I would encourage all college students to go Greek!
I am a true home-body so, on my free time I enjoy sitting on my balcony, web-browsing, with a Venti-Iced Vanilla coffee by my side. Dance and music are two art-forms that I can not get enough of and am easily consumed by on the daily! I mean, who doesn't like a good tune to move your feet to?! I also love to spend time with my friends and family as much as I can. They are the light of my life and are true blessings. It is important to me to stay surrounded by people who are constantly reminding of the person that I want to be. My family and closest friends know my heart and soul and can keep me in check with their love and support. I also enjoy meeting others and getting to know people on a deep level, there are so many amazing people on this Earth to meet!
Last, but most important, I am a Christ believer and follower. I believe that the road to happiness is a road in which God leads the way. My parents have instilled in me morals and values that are founded on Christian principles. In college, I neglected these, and I found myself depressed, selfish, and angry. I tried to live by my own standards, but was lost almost the entire time. It is amazing how the Lord can pick you up and even with bad decisions and regret, he still loves you regardless, but WANTS MORE OF YOU. There is no greater love than the love that you can experience in a relationship with Christ. It is unconditional and ever-lasting. It is a much different love than the love I feel for my family. It is a love that I pray for every single person to experience because it is truly undescribable. I see the miracles that He has bestowed upon my family, friends, and myself. Even when I see the the beautiful sunsets in Arizona I just think, "How can you not believe in him". It is beautiful and it is a creation that only he could execute. My faith is something that I can't deny. It is a large piece of who I am. It defines me.
