Adventurous, a simple word to describe my character. The thrill of adventure excites me as I encounter new projects along my journey. A journey of laughter, tears and frustration, where I cross various path with new and old faces. As a student, friend, and daughter currently living in Lawrenceville, Georgia commuting to Kennesaw, I carry the responsibility of being a role model to my 16 year old brother. Being a Mexican - American child has been both a blessing and a curse as I've been raised with high standards and experienced a surreal amount of culture.

Interested in DIY, I tend to spend an absurd amount of time on Pinterest pinning new and innovating DIYS. Aside from my time exploring different DIYS, I seek for adventure with close friends and family. From hiking a nine mile trail to find an unbelievable waterfall, the thrill of adventure calls my name. As I consider myself adventurous, travel has always been one of my favorite part time passions. In the summer of 2016, I was able to explore six different European countries while being submerged in the different cultures with a group of students. I experienced a culture shock as it was a moment in my life in which I became grateful for what I have in America and what my parents are able to provide for me.

The doubts of being “good” fade as I grow to love myself and what I have to offer. From learning how to drive to getting my first car, I blast my favorite jams with family and friends creating everlasting memories. Learning to grow and accepting the world became a second nature as I develop who I really want to be and not who my friends see me as. As I begin to face the world, I look up to those who have taught me to be selfless, confident and push me to strive for the best. The best leader, sister, friend and most of all person.Enjoying the rollercoaster of life, I dance to the sweet sound of music, enjoying the presence of loving faces, and striving for success. Each and every day I learn a little bit more of my character and what I want to leave behind as a legacy.As I begin a new chapter in my life, I am ready to explore new boundaries and await what my future has in store.
