Q. ~ What's the story behind "Flickering Happiness? ~

A. Flickering Happiness is of course the name I've chosen to work under on my social media sites. It's meaning lies in a feeling we all experience. That moment in time when we feel a sudden spark of joy and clarity. That overwhelming happiness that sometimes overcomes us, and suddenly, everything feels as if it's going to be okay. In my art, I strive to somehow capture not only that feeling, but also the fleeting quality of it, and all those other moments inbetween. In short, my goal is to not only invoke happiness, but also melancholia.
