I have three passions which define me as an educator:

1. I believe in building community such that students feel safe, known, and supported in taking steps outside of their comfort zone, as it is only then that they will truly thrive.

2. I love investing in people and watching them grow, both as learners and personally.

3. I think we, as individuals and a culture, need people who are willing not only to consume knowledge, but also to give back as leaders in areas of their passions. I take great pleasure in helping students acquire skills that will help them succeed and take ownership of making a difference in their community..​
