Life is calling. How far will you go? I answered Peace Corps' question as I stepped foot into Africa's Land of a Thousand Hills, a small country in Central/Eastern Africa called Rwanda. As a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, I am now KU's Peace Corps Representative. I strive to answer prospective applicants' questions and enjoy encouraging others to follow their dreams both internationally and personally.
Outside of my work as a Peace Corps Rep, I keep busy with school work and preparation for graduate school. My hopes are to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and return to Africa, where I can help those in remote villages who have been victims of war, disease, and malnutrition.
I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, including my husband, Robert, who I met in Peace Corps Rwanda and married in January!
