Jennifer Goncalves

Hi Class.

It is wonderful to be working with you all this semester. I have over a decade of experience in early childhood as a lead preschool teacher and now enjoy working in higher ed. at Nashville State. It is a pleasure to be instructing the next generation of educators! I am a member of NAEYC and a Certified Family Life Educator through the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR).

In addition to teaching, I am also a children's book author. I have published three children's books available on Amazon. My most recent book, "Jenny Hightower," focuses on recognizing and appreciating diversity.

I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, Mike works in entertainment. You can watch him on the TV show Haunted Towns on Discovery+. We have one fun-loving toddler, Liam. Parenting is the most wonderful and challenging adventure! We also have two furry children, Darby and Jäger.

I enjoy running and singing on the praise team at my church.
