Jennifer Horn (@nhjennifer) is a communications strategist with over thirty years of experience: strategy, media, columnist, public speaking, and public relations.

She is passionate about the issue of preserving democracy in America, including voting rights, political parties, domestic and foreign disinformation campaigns, transparency in government, and bringing Americans from diverse political and cultural backgrounds together to bridge divides and overcome tribalism.

She is a member of the USA Today Board of Contributors where she writes regularly. (@usatodayopinion) She sits on the Editorial Board of the Seacoast Media Group and is a Trustee for the Loeb School of Communications.

Horn is a 2021 Senior Practioner Fellow at the University of Chicago Center for Effective Government where she is exploring the health, ethics, and future of political parties as institutions of democracy.

Horn was a co-founder of The Lincoln Project in 2020 where she invested her experience and voice in the critical effort to preserve democracy and defeat Pres. Donald Trump.

She organized and led Republicans and Independents For Biden, a national coalition of over 150 leaders that included former Governors, Senators, Congresspeople, party leaders state legislators, and activists; she hosted the LPTV live stream Vote For America and was a regular contributor to the Lincoln Project podcasts and digital town hall events.

Horn was one of the first Republican leaders to oppose Donald Trump, in a 2011 editorial in the NH Union Leader. She was Chairwoman of the NHGOP from 2013-2017 and served on the Executive Committee of the RNC. In December 2020,she left the Republican Party and registered as an Independent.

Horn was the first woman nominated to federal office by the New Hampshire Republican Party as the 2008 nominee in NH-2.

She hosted an award-winning daily, talk radio show, On The Air With Jennifer Horn, that focused on community and politics.

She was a columnist for the New Hampshire Union Leader and a columnist and features writer for the Telegraph.

Horn has supported and served on Boards for several organizations, including the NH Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence, Marguerites Place, The Chernobyl Children’s Project, and others.

She authored ‘Hope Is A Walking Dream’ and completed six long-distance breast cancer support walks.

Jennifer Horn lives in a small New England town with her husband of 30 years. They have 5 children and 4 grandchildren.
