Labels and Titles don't define me.
Each label or title reveals only an aspect of who I am. I am more than the sum of my parts. I am ME
That said, I've had many professional labels and titles. Here are a few of those roles:
I am an Educational Consultant working under various contracts, the latest being the lead representative for the CA. NGSS Collaborative on the ATLAS Science Performance Task Digital Library. I also work part-time as a Program Associate for K-12 Alliance, a program for WestEd. As a Program Associate for WestEd, I provide professional learning facilitation on curriculum, instruction, and assessment, with a focus on the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). I am the former STEM/PBL/EdTech Coordinator of Santa Clara Unified. I was also the Director of Innovation and Instructional Support at a County Office of Education, where I served the 31 school districts in Santa Clara County in all things STEAM. I am a former Science Coordinator for two different counties, a Grant Writer, a former Physics Teacher, AP Biology Teacher, Entomology researcher, etc., but there is one label that I currently endorse and use within my professional life, and that is being a Passionate Person for Science Education!
