Labels don't define me.
Each label reveals only an aspect of who I am. I am more than the sum of my parts. I am ME
Oh, almost forgot my 'other' label ...
Supreme Ruler of the Universe…and then I wake up LOL
I've had many professional labels associated with who I am: Director of Innovation and Instructional Support at a County Office of Education, Science Coordinator for two different counties, Grant Writer, Physics Teacher, AP Biology Teacher, Entomology researcher, STEAM/PBL/EdTech Coordinator, etc. but there is one label that I current endorse and use within my professional life and that is being a Program Associate for K-12 Alliance, a program of WestEd. As a Program Associate for WestEd, I provide facilitation in professional learning experiences around curriculum, instruction, and assessment on the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
