I am so excited to begin my 17th year of teaching and my 2nd year at Pelion Elementary!
I am originally from Gilbert, SC. I attended Francis Marion University and graduated from there in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I taught 3rd grade in Aiken County for 4 years and received my Master’s of Education in Divergent Learning from Columbia College in 2002. I also taught 2nd and 5th grade in Florence, then 4th and 3rd at Lake Carolina Elementary, and 6 years of 3rd grade at Bridge Creek.
I have a wonderful and supportive husband of 13 years, a 8 1/2-year-old daughter Kylee, and a 6 1/2 year-old son named Austin.
