Welcome to the website of a second-time college student! The journey will be a little different this time around but just as challenging. There will be 5th grade basketball practice, K and Babe Ruth baseball games, carpool mania, late night grocery shopping and endless loads of laundry stuffed into my schedule. On the up side, I really know what I want to be this time; a teacher. And it's ok that I'm slightly over 40 because even if I only get 15 good years of doing something that I love, it's worth more than 30 doing something I don't. Accounting was my first profession and being home with my three beautiful kids(Jackson, Abby and Max) was the second. Now, the time is right and I'm going for it. I can't wait to be in the classroom in about 1.5 years...as a teacher who is working hard to inspire the minds of children!
