Welcome to my site. This is my personal blog where I share my thoughts and convictions, and to connect with and encourage other Muslim women like myself. I embraced Islam a little more than twelve years ago, later married and was blessed with two children. I am a lifelong writer whose work has been published online and in print and I have worked with organizations such as WhyIslam, Muslim Bridges and more recently served on the public relations committee of InterfaithWISDOM. I'm passionate about Islamic ideals and sharing them with others and pen columns for Suite101 and Examiner. I always find myself drawn into writing, reading, speaking and teaching others.
