Jennifer Kallus

I am both an artist and an art teacher. I am interested – both in my own work and in my teaching practice – in the act of looking. I find that I am endlessly fascinated with my surroundings. In my teaching practice, I search for ways to impart that fascination to my students. I strive to find a balance between teaching students skills that they can take pride in and giving them the freedom to explore, conceptualize, and create their own artwork.
