Jennifer is a life-long animal lover and caretaker. From a young age, Jennifer has been interacting with animals and feels a deep connection with them. She has an instant rapport with most animals and is able to understand their emotions, motivations and needs. Simply stated, Jennifer has a real emotional affinity with the animal kingdom, and enjoys working with pets and pet owners to address any concerns that may arise.

For over 15 years, Jennifer has been using this gift to help clients better understand their pets and, in turn, help them to meet their pet’s specific needs. She is often asked, “Why does my pet keep doing this? I just don’t understand what he/she wants.” Jennifer provides a connection with the pet being cared for and the owner, by answering questions such as this and providing answers to help create a positive environment for all.

Jennifer is a lifelong resident of San Jose and the founder of Pet Perx Pet Care. While petsitting part-time in her off hours, Jennifer decided to walk away from a career in office management and event planning to pursue her dream of working with animals full-time. She began pet-sitting professionally in 2000, and started her own pet care business - Petsitting By Jennifer- in 2009.

After years of serving the pet care industry in Cupertino, CA, Jennifer founded Pet Perx Pet Care in 2015, with a focus on providing busy professionals top notch pet care to alleviate the stress and guilt associated with long work hours, business trips, and emergencies that may arise.
