Experiences in life shape who were are today. My childhood on a farm taught me the meaning of the family unit working together as a team to accomplish goals by a set time. My small worm farm was the beginning of my lessons as a business owner.
I have not always been the owner of a small business. My career path started as I worked in a lumber manufacturing company learning processes, budgeting, and management. I later worked as an operations manager at a trucking company where I learned to use logistics to enhance profitability.
Now as President of Cooper Sign Company and Old Glory Flag, a 100-year old business, I am using what I have learned from my past experiences to serve my customers with creative solutions to identify their business, enhance the look of a medical, educational or government campus, and work with architects and general contractors on large projects. Cooper Sign Company is a certified Woman Owned Business.
A core value of Cooper Sign Company and Old Glory Flag is community service. Cooper Sign Company is committed to being a part of the community and encourage our employees to be engaged as well.
I am currently an active member of Niagara Community Church; a member of the Niagara Military Affairs Council (NIMAC); 2012 graduate of the UB Center for Entrepreneur Leadership Class and active member of the alumni association.
I have served as President of the Niagara Wheatfield Music Parents Club 2007 & 2008; board member and past President of the Town of Nagara Business & Professional Association; founding member of the Niagara Electric Lights Parade Event held annually; and a member of the 914th Family Services Support Group supporting families of those who serve our country at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Base; past president of the New York State Sign Association - Region I.
I have been recognized as Business of the year 2003; Business Person of the Year 2007; Citizen of the Year 2008; Business First Woman of Infuence 2008; Key for Women Achievement Award 2009; NAWBO Woman in Leadership 2012;
