Jennifer McKay

Jennifer McKay is currently a Regional Digital Sales Manager with the Dow Jones Local Media Group, for our New York and Pennsylvania markets. Her responsibilities include managing two sales teams focusing on digital marketing solutions. Ms. McKay, a graduate of SUNY Orange, has a lengthy history in sales. Her career began in retail when she was fifteen years old. Eventually she shifted to phone sales through Frontier Communications, where she was its top sales person for five consecutive years. From there Ms. McKay worked for Northwestern Mutual, where she held the position as Marketing Consultant and was focused on acquiring clients with a net worth of over one million dollars who were in need of financial planning services. Eight years ago Ms. McKay joined the Hudson Valley Media Group’s sales team and has hit her sales goal all but one month of her employment with the Times Herald Record as an Account Executive. In 2006 Ms. McKay was assigned to help build the Times Herald-Record’s budding Internet Sales Department, where she played an instrumental role in growing online revenue by significant margins. As a Senior Marketing Consultant for the Hudson Valley Media Group, Ms. McKay’s portfolio of offerings expanded to include both print and internet products, from newspaper and magazine advertising to banner ads and search engine marketing. She hopes to continue her sales efforts in the Hudson Valley and Pocono Region, focusing specifically on the future possibilities that the Internet can offer to medium- to large-sized business in the region.
