When we talk about organization, time management, and efficiency, I think people conjure up a miserly image of some Sir Pinchpenny, keeping inventory for no purpose other than purported economy.

And that hurts my feelings. Just a little bit.

The way I see it, keeping things tidy, scheduled, and productive is actually about quality of life, not quantity of, well, anything.

It's not necessarily about perfection (mistakes happen! things slip!), but rather about being considerate of our own selves. In a way, it's kind of an exercise in self-care.

No one feels great about themselves after they show up to an appointment late or forget something important.

Everyone has a system. Whether or not they've found it yet. I'm just there as a trail-guide, helping them find their way.
