In the last 10+ years, I have worked in several industries such as non-profit, medical, court/legal, and education. The positions I have held in those industries permitted me the opportunity to gain skills that would fit the objectives of any organization; efficient time management aptitude, remarkable coordination abilities, strong communication skills and excellent organization proficiency.
Part of my success is because I place a high value on personal integrity and represent myself in an ethical and respectable manner. Added to my diligence in paying close attention to detail, I bring focus not only to the value of the services, but also to accountability and ownership to my work. I am a hardworking, organized self-starter who works equally well in a team environment or individually and brings a belief in flexibility, honesty and responsibility.
A believer in working in your community, I am a volunteer for Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Kootenai County, Board member of Kootenai County Substance Abuse Council (KCSAC), Chairperson for Coeur d' Alene Charter Academy PTO and a certifield foster mom for the State of Idaho. In the last year, I have the pleasure of serving as the 2013 Rally for Education Coordinator for Coeur d' ALene Charter Academy.
This past September, I was very honored to accept the position of Teen Education and Outreach Coordinator for North Idaho Violence Prevention Center; formerly known as the Women's Center. NIVPC maintains a collection of resources on domestic violence and sexual assault, and anti-violence efforts. In my new role, I am fortunate to work with area school children in our Healthy Relationships program to decrease violence for the next generation. I also train and educate adult populations on domestic violence/sexual assault, including professional service providers and parent groups. All materials will be provided for these programs at no cost to schools or participants.
