Jennifer Jerome
Short version: I'm a mom, wife, writer, website designer, graphic designer and fighter for the underdog.
I lean to the liberal side of politics. I fight for the underdog, not for the system abusers. I have heartfelt compassion for people with missing children, fallen heroes and those whom suffer from things that most could never comprehend.
I don't have a "It will never happen to me" mentality. I have a "It's better to be safe than sorry" mentality.
I am faithful & devoted to those who I love and love me in return. My heart is consumed with love for Alexis, Steve and my Mother. They are my constants.
I'm a volunteer on my Aunt's 501(c) non-profit organization called the Missouri Military Memorial Foundation. Her daughter (my cousin) SGT Amanda Pinson was killed in action on March 16, 2006 in Tikrit, Iraq. It broke my heart the day we lost her. So I'm carrying on by playing my role in making certain they are not forgotten & always honored. The biggest lesson she taught me in her lifetime was: "It's not about you". I think less of me and more about others.
I'm also a mom blogger. Yes, I actually review products for my clients and write my opinion on them after they have been tested.
I'm a Girl Scout Co-Leader.
I used to be a Police Dispatcher.
I live by two sayings:
1. Damaged people are dangerous because they know they can survive.
2. Live.Laugh.Love.
Life is entirely too short.
I used to be a publicist for numerous rock and metal bands.
I love to write - pure, plain & simple.
I have a passion for photography and I feel I'm more than moderately creative. I'm internet savvy and know how to build web sites & make graphic designs. I learned on a WebTV; I kid you not.
I RARELY drink and I don't do drugs.
I LOVE the color PINK. I drink Diet Coke like water.
I've almost died...twice.
