First, I'm married. While this might seem a bit silly to list as a credential, so many marriage therapists aren't married. And you really need someone who understands the joys and struggles of their own marriage to help you with yours.

Second, I have two kids. Why is this important? Because having kids dramatically changes a relationship. Your priorities and values, but also your roles and expectations. I get it.

Last but not least, I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. That means that my 5 years of graduate training was specifically aimed at learning the dynamics of relationships and how to help improve them. Additionally, I've completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and incorporate the highly-effective Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my work.

In my 8 years of private practice here in Boca, I've worked with many couples dealing with just about every issue that could arise in a relationship.
