Jennifer Naylor
As a technology strategist with an extensive background in social computing, collaboration platforms, diffusion strategy and information design, Jennifer Naylor consults on software selection and implementation. She is a trained facilitator of workshops on innovation, team building and strategic visioning to support technology uptake. She sits on the advisory boards of warehouse-management software company 3PL Central and New York Institute of Technology, where she is working with the dean of the School of Computing and Engineering to design and establish a student-led program in entrepreneurship. She chairs the Stewardship Council for the groundbreaking and award-winning retreat center The Omega Institute, which is focused on sustainability, women’s leadership and the needs of our nation's armed forces personnel. Former managing director of US-based Golden Seeds, Jennifer led the Internet Businesses sector group that acted as the vanguard for the angel group’s deal pipeline and conducted due diligence for high-growth technology companies. She continues to advise entrepreneurs on funding, communications and positioning with a strong emphasis on exit strategy. Jennifer speaks frequently on issues including women's entrepreneurship, angel investing and social innovation. Her workshop facilitation practice centers on fostering innovation culture among teams tasked with technology development. A two-time Fulbright scholar to Egypt, Jennifer earned a PhD from New York University. She has an undergraduate degree from Colby College, Waterville, Me. where she completed a double major, graduating cum laude with distinction, and won a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship for research abroad.
