I grew up dreaming to become a film director. I admired the underdog indie directors that created the culturally relevant films of today: Kevin Smith, Paul Thomas Anderson, and the Coen Brothers. As many others in my generation I started in YouTube creating videos that emulated Saturday Night Live. I went on to study film at Shoreline Community College near Seattle.
I always had a soft spot for historical dramas. It was this interest that led me to history as my major at Western Washington University in Bellingham. From there I focused on studies in Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
As I continue my journey in life, currently coordinating social media for Frontier Communications right in my own backyard, I hope to be able to continue to explore my passions in interests as I have done so often in the past.
