Project Manager – I have successfully managed a variety of projects in my capacity as Chair of community band Wonderbrass as well as for SWICA Carnival and Zoom Cymru. These projects include community music, community carnivals and workshops for a young people’s film festival.
Event Organiser – I graduated with a Masters in Events Management from University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) my studies have enhanced excellent industry experience in a range of environments including arts administration, local music, festivals and film festivals. I have experience in organising events and projects locally, nationally and internationally.
Arts Administrator – With over ten years’ experience in project management, events co-ordination, research, marketing and administration within the creative industries, events and arts fields. I was responsible for company and grant administration, schools and one off projects management, accounting and leading on new marketing developments for SWICA Carnival.
Fundraiser – I secured funding for several private projects through the BBC Performing Arts Fund (PAF) and a high profile commission through theNew Music 20×12 independent commissioning programme delivered by PRS for Music Foundation.
Musician - I play saxophones (baritone and tenor) in four Cardiff-based bands: Wonderbrass, Iron Eye, Tattsyrup and Occasional Brass Ensemble. I was funded via Jazz 4 Jed to travel to New York. I've also played/recorded with Jason Yarde, King Django, Amampondo, Inc.A, The DB Big Band and many more.
