Wide eyes and itchy feet.

I'm a young British girl, born in Cornwall but grew up in Nottinghamshire. Upon finishing only my first year of A-Levels in Nottinghamshire, I felt no passion towards the studying I was doing and didn't see myself applying to go off to University, especially in the UK. So I spent two years working full time in recruitment and marketing, desperately saving money for an adventure.

Early 2014 I quit my job to move to Italy to be an Au Pair- initially for only 6 months. I was working for and living with a great family not far from Lago Maggiore, looking after two little girls aged 2 and 4, who I fell in love with! Holly, the oldest, has a chromosone deletion disorder and has daily therapies to help with her development, which was my main priority as her nanny.

After four months of living in Italy I met my boyfriend, Flinn. Then my life got even better and it was the most amazing summer of my life. I finished as an Au Pair in December 2014 and moved in with Flinn in a town called Sesto Calende.

I am truly, madly, deeply in love with Italy, and it feels more like home than England ever has or will! The whole country is so beautiful and it comes with wonderful culture. I'm sure that Italy is one of the most unique and idycllic places in the entire world.

However, Flinn received a fantastic job offer at the end of 2014, and we started a whole new adventure together in Dubai in February 2015!
