Jenny Anderson

My name is Jenny and I’m 29. I share my tiny 106-year-old house in Saint Paul, MN with my husband David and our beloved cat Sachi and dog Kylee.

I graduated from college with a BA in English in 2004 and then began working in London as an editorial assistant at a large publishing company. After my visa expired, I returned to the Twin Cities and, in quick succession, met the love of my life, bought our house, and got engaged. We were married in the fall of 2007 and honeymooned in Thailand three months later.

Professionally, I am a taxonomist at a consumer and market research firm, a graduate student working on my master’s degree in library and information science, and an occasional freelance editor and proofreader.

I spend the rest of my time reading, watching documentaries, cooking and baking, surfing the internet obsessively, making lots of lists of all kinds, ruthlessly streamlining and organizing my house, taking long walks with Kylee, biking, downhill skiing, doing Zumba and Pilates, traveling, and working on one of about a thousand ongoing home improvement projects.
