Jenny Burks

I have been teaching for 16 years in the NMUSD school district. I love my job and everything that is involved with it. Technology is a passion of mine, and my goal is to help bring all student learning into the 21st century. This year, I will be working as an Education Technology TOSA, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with administrators and teachers throughout the district, helping to embed technology into learning.

A little about me- I graduated from UCLA, then headed to Pepperdine University for my MA in Education and Teaching Credential. After that, I began working at Rea Elementary where I decided to return to Pepperdine for my MA in Clinical Psychology. Later, I completed my Administration Credential from National Univeristy. I have been teaching at Sonora for the past 8 years.

I feel blessed to be a part of the Newport Mesa team, and I look forward to this year.
