Jenny Carnegie

Hello, I’m Jenny . I’m a teacher living in London Ontario. My background and passion is in Kindergarten. I love the program!!! So much potential and opportunities to explore a variety of different areas. I continue to strive to learn more each year and really love being a part of the students learning journey.

Currently I am looking to continue my own learning journey and expand my horizons. I am definitely stepping outside of my comfort zone and taking a new direction in my learning. During my undergrad, I focused on sociology and child development courses. As I continue to be a "life learner", this course allows me to deepen my learning and challenge me in new ways.

I have been teaching with the TVDSB for the past 12 years, that includes time on the supply teaching and in LTO's. I also taught in Calgary at a private school that focused on the Forebel theory of play in Kindergarten.

I am a mother of 2 girls ages 5 and 6. We like to keep them active and playing outside is an important part of our day. We regularly go out for hikes, play in the snow and just enjoy the outdoors.

I am excited about this course and look forward to learning with and learning from you.
