With three decades of experience in six independent schools and one university, Jenny Chiang provides consulting services, hiring assistance, and presentations for educational organizations in the areas of:

A fluent Chinese speaker, shehas a thorough understanding of the challenges inherent in cross-cultural communications. She provides translations, cultural sensitivity guidance, and solicitation of Chinese-speaking families.

Committed to professional development,Jenny has received education awards, served on boards, and presented at multiple education associations.

EXPERIENCE

As assistant head for advancement at National Cathedral School, Jenny co-chaired the school’s strategic plan and re-accreditation, led a $56M campaign ($6M above goal), and staffed the board of trustees and committees. Prior to NCS, she held advancement roles at Potomac School and Dana Hall School.

She also served as director of admissions/western region for the University of Pennsylvania, associate director of admissions/college counseling at Brentwood School, Shipley School, and College Summit before her role as director of diversity at the Baldwin School.

Jenny holds B.A., B.F.A., M.F.A. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, and started her career at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising. She has shown her artwork and photos in numerous exhibitions, including shows mounted by the Corcoran Gallery, the Washington Post, and USA Today. She and her family travel widely, with a particular love of hiking in the national parks and attending Broadway shows.
