My passion has always been history. Even as a child I would sit on the floor and watch documentaries and annoy my father with my millions of questions on why people did the things that they did. Though my passion has not always been teaching, i have always been passionate about spreading my knowledge and love for the past and its effects on our future.

I have worked in different fields since I entered the work force, from retail, nursing, nanny, color guard instructor, and a work study in a couple different departments across Morehead State's campus. Each job has taught me little hings about myself, but none has motivated me more than teaching the kids at Rowan County High School. At the moment, I then realized that I was meant to teach.

I am currently in the process of obtaining my bachelors degree in Secondary Social Studies Education with a minor in Public History. While attending Morehead for the past four years I have achieved some of my greatest achievements. I have been a member of the Morehead State Marching Band's color guard for the past four years as well as a founding member of the university's first color guard co-ed fraternity, Chi Mu Delta.

My passion is to inspire and teach America's future generations the importance and the effects of history on their lives and to inspire the same sense of wonder and passion that comes with it that has captivated me since childhood.
