I stumbled across a new hobby in 1999 and I've Never looked back. The day I walked into the rehearsal of a women's barbershop chorus .... I could never have known how it would shape my life! How many new friends I have made, how many marvellous challenges and opportunities it yields.

16 Years later and I'm now the passionate, enthusiastic Director of Music to the fabulous women of the Spinnaker Chorus. I spend my days planning, musing and exploring different ways to inspire and empower the singers. I guess I hope to create an environment where women can re-kindle that (often neglected) connection with music, much in the same way I have been touched by the magic of A-cappella singing.

The ethos of our Chorus is Fun, Hard work, Passion, Encouragement, Joy and Synergy. Spinnaker Chorus is a wonderful example of women working together achieving more than the sum of our individual parts! Being relatively new to this role I am still honing my craft and constantly learning... Music is a journey but what a marvellous adventure!!
