Jenny Zou

Dr. Jenny Zou was born in China and lived in Hunan, Hubei and Guangdong until she was 20 years old. Dr. Zou graduated with a MBA degree in International Business and Finance and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, from University of Miami (Miami-FL-USA).

Dr. Zou received a B.S. degree in Biology from Wuhan University (Wuhan, China) and later she worked as a scientist at Chinese Academia of Science Wuhan Institute of Virology (China).

In 2000, she started a biotech company with her family in China. The company owns and operated two manufacturing facilities, which produced enzymes and alive microorganism for agriculture and waste management. Dr. Zou handled all aspects of R&D for the company: covering research, technology transfer and product development.

From 2005 and 2009, she worked as a principle investigator in Chinese Academia of Science and led a group of scientists to carry out research projects funded by Chinese government grants.

In 2010, she joined an international commerce company called Kern Corp. Dr. Zou's love and passion for her motherland pushed her to focus primarily on assisting Asian buyers in all aspects of their procurement activities. In 2012, she went back to research and currently works in the bioanalytical and biopharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Zou is dedicated to "Enpower Entrepreneurs With Information and Solutions." She does this by giving advice on how to make overseas contacts, use exchange currencies and understand the myriad of laws regulating international trade. Her skills include experience in economics and finance. International trade can be complicated by language barriers, exchange rates, tariffs and changing laws, it is here that Dr. Zou's fluency in a foreign business language with the ability to communicate in the native tongue can help overcome these challenges.
