I am the Owner of Above N Beyond, I am a blogger/free lance writer and I am a registered Artist with the Choctaw Nation (yes, I am Choctaw). I'm a bargain hunting fashionista, with a stylish eye. I LOVE Woodworking, Mosaics and anything/everything Arts & Crafts.I was diagnosed with a severe case of PTSD and OCD in 2015. Desperately trying to get sober, I soon realized I had been self medicating for 12 + years.After a tragic accident in November 2014, I vowed to live my life differently. The past 12 years have been a horrible battle within myself. I have made a MILLION mistakes, but it truly feels amazing to finally have some answers. Everyday is a new learning experience for me and it sincerely feels as if I am living my life for the first time EVER! Take a ride with me as I journal through my new journey of self exploration. Writing for me is therapy and I'll be honest, I have a LOT to say. I have been overwhelmed recently with a need to be heard, I want to inspire others to be their true authentic selves and bring awareness to mental disorders and how they truly effect people. My passion and true outlet is Disc Golf. I'm an avid Disc Golfer and a PDGA member. I reside in Austin, TX with my Boyfriend of 6 years, we have 5 Children between us, a Maltese named Ash, a Male Tabby named Buddha and a Female Tabby named Gracie. I'm a no nonsense, go getter, full of life, spunk and fire. I live my life with positive intent and I'm just trying to be a better person, than I was yesterday.
