Not all PhDs sit by the fire and read James Joyce. Sure, I love the arts, but I also love jumping in the water with Great White sharks. The biggest adrenaline rush is looking these amazing creatures right in the eye from inches away. This charge of energy is the ultimate sensation, alongside ranking a client's website on page 1 in the SERPs that sees a high conversion rate (yes, I am a SEO nerd, and proud of it). I play as hard as I work, and every amazing life experience makes me a better person both personally and professionally.

My philosophy? Life is both a game and a challenge; my motto is to have fun playing while working hard to emerge victorious. The universe leads us in directions for the greater good. I am a practicing Buddhist, and meditate daily for personal and professional growth. Digital marketing, SEO, search marketing, and web development requires a lot of focus, trial and error, years of knowledge, and a flawless relationship with clients--meditating for my professional success, as well as for gaining enlightenment in my personal life, is a large part of what fuels me to leave my mark in this world.

What do I read? I have a subscription to 'The Economist', I read SEO and marketing journals, I adore Nietzsche, thought-provoking books my life coach gives me, Lord Byron, Russian, German, and British literature. Books on Art History, and historical biographies.

What gets me jumping from my seat? I'm a die-hard sports fan (go Dodgers) and love consumer segmentation modeling.

I appreciate quality craft beer and fine coffee. I love animals. I value my volunteer work at the Museum of Tolerance, and I love traveling. I credit a large portion of my professional and personal identity to my travels (I've seen 36% of the world).

Professional goals: I seek an employment opportunity that resonates with my goals and passion for SEO and digital marketing. I am in the process of publishing. I am also developing a non-profit that will teach kids web development and SEO in both after-school programs and as integrated parts of curriculums. Ultimately, I want to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

My role models: T.E. Lawrence, Flash Gordon, Camile Paglia, my father, and the essence of our underwater world.
