Jen Tilley

Jen Tilley is a Senior Account Executive and Project Manager at Mom It Forward by day with years of experience in branding, content creation, editorial management, marketing, project management, public relations, and social media marketing. In her spare time, you will most likely find her in the kitchen covered in either flour, sugar, or both. She is the author, photographer, and recipe developer on How To: Simplify, a blog that shares tips, tricks, and recipes to simplify life in the kitchen.

Her love of photography started at a young age and she quickly found herself spending countless hours in the dark room developing film. While studying journalism and public relations at Michigan State University, she enrolled in a photojournalism class, switched to digital photography, and traveled to the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic to study photography. She has studied photojournalism, as well as documentary, food, portraiture, and landscape photography. Samples of her work can be viewed on her photography site, Jen Tilley Photography.

She is originally from Michigan but now lives in a D.C. rowhouse. She was lucky enough to marry her best friend and they share their home with a boxer mix named Caster and a lab mix named Tugboat. You will most likely find her working on the computer, spending time with family and friends, playing with her dogs, baking and cooking in the kitchen, taking photographs, traveling, spending time on a boat, or wine tasting.
