Hi, I’m JC.

I don’t just write things. I photograph them, video it, edit all of that stuff together, market it where it counts, and then tell everyone about it, all day long.

You might have heard me telling everyone about my work in The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, BuzzFeed News, and ET Canada.

I’ve won two National Magazine Awards, and my debut book,Is Canada Even Real?, was named one of the best comedy books of the year by Vulture.That came as a surprise, because I had aimed to write an earnest review of the culture.

They called me “the Most Canadian Woman in the World” because I was an editor at Canadian Living, a child Ski-Doo driver, a Banff dweller, and I won a CBC competition where Mark Messier handed me the Stanley Cup.

The most Canadian woman in the world? I prefer to think of myself as the most versatile performance content producer in the world, but you be the judge.

You can also think of me as ‘Jen’ now rather than ‘JC’, because we’re pals.
