Jenzil Skerritt lives in Montserrat, the Emerald Isle of the Caribbean. He grew up in the capital Plymouth Montserrat and Roseau Dominica, and is one of the few post graduates his age, who remembers the devastation of Hurricane Hugo, 1989 and the volcanic evacuation caused by the Soufriere Hills volcano 1995.

Jenzil recently returned home from completing a Bachelor of Science Degree: Land Economy Valuation and Surveying, from the University of Technology, Kingston, Jamaica. The program took him through a plethora of Land Law, Economics, Valuation and Surveying techniques that he has found most useful as the island is in what many will consider, “a renaissance of infrastructure.”

He works as a Manager for a local hardware and is a third generation Hardware professional.

He worked as the Project Officer within the Infrastructure Department in the Montserrat Development Corporation (March 2014). Prior to that appointment, he worked as the Assistant Valuation Officer in the Inland Revenue Department, Montserrat Customs and Revenue Service, in the Ministry of Finance (4 year, 9months).

Jenzil was a Rotaractor for eleven (11) years and is now a member of the Montserrat Rotary Club, District 7030. He plays and teaches basketball to boys or girls who are interested in learning and developing their basketball ability.
