Jere Inberg

Hey there! My name is Jere, I'm 19 years old and I live in Oulu, Finland. I graduated from the upper secondary school of Kastellin lukio on May 2015. I'm also a journalist for the hockey centered internet-magazine Jatkoaika.com. Feel free to check out some of my work there!

I'm a huge sports enthusiast, especially hockey. I believe every human being needs something in their life they're passionate about. Otherwise your life can feel incomplete and kind of empty. But when you have a passion - something you live and breathe - you feel more complete. Be it sports, music, writing, anything.

Of course your passion doesn't have to be limited to one cause only: you can have plenty. Besides sports I myself for example enjoy music, fashion and cooking.

To be passionate is not so much about others as it is about oneself. You could say it's a good kind of 'selfishness'. Something that you give your heart and soul to, never mind what others think.

But it's not like it doesn't connect the masses. People who think and act alike are more likely to bond together. Same goes with passion. It unites people who might not have much in common otherwise.
