Financial Advisory
Financial Advisor, AWM Singapore Working primarily with young working adults and fresh graduates — the group most FAs overlook until they're already in a crisis.
What makes my approach different:
I don't run financial reviews the way most advisors do. I run them the way I'd assess an injury — because that's the discipline I actually trained in.
- Diagnostic-first, not solution-first. Before any recommendation, I run what I call an MSK Assessment — identifying where the actual weak point is before prescribing anything on the first conversation.
- Recovery-phase structuring. I build every plan the same way I'd structure a rehab program: Assessment → Stabilization → Strengthening → Performance. People always know which phase they're in and why — never just "act now."
- Read-first conversations. Everyone gets a communication style read before I present anything, so what I share is delivered in a way that actually lands — direct and fast for some, detailed and reassuring for others.
- Built on trust, not pitches. My work runs through an educational content system — people come to me already informed, never cold-approached.
- Care that doesn't disappear after the meeting. Everyone gets a clear, easy-to-digest recap after every conversation, plus a structured record behind the scenes — nothing gets lost, nothing feels transactional.
- Referral-driven, not volume-driven. Growth comes from people who've already seen the process work — not from chasing numbers.
The Bridge
I help people recover from setbacks — whether that's a torn ligament or a financial blind spot. My work started in rehab: BSc (Hons.) Sports Science, specializing in injury recovery and biomechanics for dancers. It expanded into financial planning because I saw the same pattern everywhere — people avoiding the problem until it's an emergency, then needing a structured plan to actually heal.
My Story
Multiple dance injuries and a slip disc once left me unable to walk — or dance — for years. That recovery process, slow and unglamorous, is what drives how I coach and advise today: real progress happens in structured, deliberate steps, not overnight fixes.
I also have clinical experience working with stroke, cerebral palsy, and spinal cord injury patients, including homecare rehabilitation for stroke patients — work that grounded me in patience, small wins, and long-arc recovery, all of which carries directly into how I build financial plans with clients.
