Jeremiah Boydstun
Teacher in Mililani, Hawaii
I grew up in Hawaii, although spent some time on the mainland living in Nevada, Virginia and Washington. I received my BA (with honors) and my MA in English, with a concentration in literary studies, from UH Manoa.
Since 2004 I have been teaching writing (and occasionally literature) at Leeward Community College, where I also serve on the Curriculum Committee, Language Arts DPC, Faculty Senate, Board of Student Communications, and the Alternative Class Schedule Committee.
In my spare time I enjoy anything fitness-related (running, weight training, hiking, pilates); I participate in martial arts, I love to read, cook, and I like to write really bad fiction in my spare time, some of which you can read in my blog above). I will also be attending Manoa in fall 2016 to begin work on another master's degree.
