Hello - My name is Jeremiah Byrd. I am true-blue self-professed data hound (read: life-long learner), and an educator both in heart & mind. It is not merely what I do, but quite succinctly, who I am. I have earned both Bachelor of Science (General Science) and Master of Science (Nutrition) degrees, each from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. The 2013-2014 school year will is my twelfth year teaching school. I have taught many science courses to secondary students over the years, both required and elective. Besides teaching, my top enjoyable activities (among several others) are: spending plenty of quality time with both my wife & our precious 24 month-old daughter, appreciating and composing music, observing/absorbing nature (especially with ohana in Hawaii...8o), playing with our spoiled cats, learning still more + more, reading physical books and newspapers (not digital versions), "stopping to smell the roses", and preparing/cooking delectable foods.
