Jeremiah Villizu is a servant, reformer and a dedicated youth leader who mind has been focused on pursuing and unleashing the greatness within him. He holds a Bachelors of Arts (BA) Degree in Social Sciences with emphasis in Sociology and Demography from the Dr. Amos C. Sawyer College of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Liberia. He has over seven (7) years of working experience both in the public and private sectors. He’s knowledgeable in Community Engagement, Integrated Interpersonal Communication and Social + Behaviour Change.
Currently, he’s a United Nations Volunteer working as a Community Mobilizer with the Margibi County Health Team, to carryout dissemination of key messages to increase awareness and access to COVID-19 vaccine, and to ensure that they and their family are protected, and to mobilize young people to promote volunteerism, through strengthening their knowledge on volunteerism and to collect data on the socio-economic of COVID and etc.
He have relevant experience serving the Youth Crime Watch of Liberia (YCWL), Liberian Youth Network (LIYONET), Federation of Liberian Youth(FLY), Child Resource Institute of Liberia, National Elections Commission (NEC Liberia), Youth Alive Liberia and etc.
Why serving in these institutions; he has proved to be hardworking, courageous, passionate and committed. His work has been centered on promoting a violence free society, inclusivity, social peace building, quality education for all and tolerance.
He is a well-rounded youth who lives with passion, dedication, and grace.
