Jeremy Burton

Hey there, I’m Jeremy. I’m a teacher living in Peterborough. I am a fan of music, baseball, and skiing. I’m also interested in surfing and hiking. I have 10 years of teaching experience in the kawarthas and one year in Alberta. I have taught many different courses in LTO'S over the years including science, math, phys ed, English mostly at the secondary and junior high level. I have also taught grade 7 and 8 in elementary. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, especially the connection made with students in the classroom as well as coaching athletic teams. My qualifications are senior social science, senior general science, intermediate math and spec ed part 1. I am returning to teaching after several years away from the profession, and am so excited to be back. I have been lucky enough to acquire a coverage LTO for the rest of the school year at a secondary school and am coaching the girls 3 pitch team. I did my undergraduate degree and teacher ed programs in the USA while on a baseball scholarship. I also got to be a head coach of an NCAA baseball team while completing my graduate degree.
