Jeremy Cheyne

A leader in the business world, Jeremy Cheyne currently serves as the chief executive officer and president of Prairie Advisory Corp. in Calgary. Previously, he held the same roles at Standard Resources, Inc., guiding the company from its earliest days as a startup to its eventual sale. In addition, he has been on the boards of several nonprofit organizations. From 2009 to 2011, Jeremy Cheyne was a member of the volunteer board of Exile Island, and helped the organization raise more than $300,000. Later, he sat on the board of Business for Calgary Kids, which raises money through annual charity golf tournaments.

Outside of work, Jeremy Cheyne stays active by boxing and wakeboarding. Earlier in his career, he played professional lacrosse and hockey. He has traveled throughout the Americas, and visited most major American and Canadian cities. He has also been to a number of European cities, including London and Paris, and lived in Germany for a year.
