I am a senior communications major at Angelo State University working towards earning a public relations degree that would allow me to find employment combining my passions for marketing and problem solving with my passion for educating the public regarding diversity and acceptance.

I have found that my life’s journey is to create an impact on the world through social and educational activities that promote diversity, awareness and understanding. This has lead me down the path of social activism and not-for-profit event coordination.

In the past 7 years, I have created over 50 social, educational, and entertaining events covering topics including multicultural awareness, LGBT history and issues, cultural diversity, and AIDS education and prevention. I have coordinated events benefiting Toys for Tots and the Be The Match Bone Marrow Registry as well as work on campaigns and programs with agencies such as DoSomething.org and the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley.

When not working, I enjoy watching and reading science fiction, finding fun ways to change the world, and road trip to see as much of the world as possible.
