I was a leading UK digital civil servant. I devised and implemented the first government department digital strategy, helped shaped the agenda for web2 / social media use in government, managed many high profile government websites, founded UKGovcamp and Teacamp.

I took time away from the day to day hustle and bustle of Whitehall, to bring up my young children.

I'm really interested in helping organisations use the web better to communicate, transact and interact - particularly, but not exclusively, public sector organisations. I'm fascinated by the intersection of organisations/government, technology, customer/citizens and services.

I enjoy a good challenge and enjoy working within constraints - be they, financial, organisational, technical, political, whatever - to deliver creative, workable, solutions.
