Lawyer Jeremy Lowe serves as a partner at the Connecticut law firm Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP. Focusing primarily on complex litigation matters, especially patent and intellectual property cases, he has recently argued before the Federal Circuit, represented defendants in a multi-billion-dollar jury trial, and obtained a summary judgment ruling of patent invalidity. Recognized as a leading attorney in his state, Jeremy Lowe has received honors from both Connecticut Magazine, which named him among its 40 Under 40 for 2013, and the Connecticut law tribune, which ranked him among its 2012 “New Leaders in the Law.”
Outside of his duties as an attorney, he has frequently spoken at various seminars on topics related to Paragraph IV disputes, device obviousness standards, and pre-trial tactics. He also remains actively involved with his professional community as a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Intellectual Property Lawyers Association, and the latter’s Patent Law Committee.
Before deciding to become a lawyer, Mr. Lowe studied chemical engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia. From there, he obtained his juris doctor from Washington University in St. Louis. He began his career at Leydig, Voit & Mayer, where he worked for eight years before assuming his current position.
