Jeremy Mayhew

Martha's Vineyard

Jeremy Mayhew is an independent filmmaker, designer, animator, and freelance motion graphics artist with a penchant for visually arresting imagery, an intuitive sense of the intricacies of timing, and a careful ear for meticulous sound design. He comes from a diverse background in film production, graphic design, music, and the fine arts.

Jeremy works with clients large and small, helping production companies, corporations, advertising agencies, nonprofits, and small businesses develop and enhance their brand story with immersive, original, creative content for film, broadcast, and the Web. He specializes in brand-idents, bumpers, openers, teasers, commercials, title sequences, visual essays, infographics, and explanatory films. He strives to create work that is both communicative and inspirational. From a production studio based on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, he collaborates with, and forges visions for, clients worldwide.

Jeremy has developed and worked on projects for Redken, PBS, HGTV, the History Channel, The Electric Company, Galen Films, The Big Picture, Silver Screen Society, the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival, the Woods Hole Film Festival, and the Martha’s Vineyard Film Society. His films have screened at film festivals around the world, garnering awards and accolades internationally. He also often serves as curator of the International Shorts Program at the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival.
