My home is in Delta Junction, Alaska; and I work at the nearby US military base of Fort Greely, Alaska. Fort Greely is a US Army launch base south of Fairbanks in my native state of Alaska. Because of the rather famous (or should that be infamous!) Alaskan weather, the site is the US’s main Cold Weather training centre – for both troops and missiles/equipment.
