Jeremy Wilkins

Jeremy Wilkins grew up in rural Hurdle Mills, North Carolina, where he started working as an apprentice on farms in the area during high school. Due to his interest in farming, he started to notice that livestock farmers were struggling and realized no one had any good solutions for utilizing the whole animals when farmers began marketing their livestock.

He became passionate about meat and began training as an apprentice butcher. Over the years, he became a master butcher and did a lot of research on whole-animal butchery and local meat. He developed experience working with local farmers in his role managing a full service meat department at Whole Foods Market.

Bull City Butchery is a combination of excellent skill and passion that Jeremy has formulated over the years. His endeavor to change the supply of meat is extraordinary, and he wants to spread his knowledge and share high-quality, artisan meat with people while helping small local farmers.
