The most important thing I would want you to know about me regarding Real Estate – whether you are selling or buying a home, or business or land – I will work diligently to earn both your trust and confidence during the journey we embark upon together. Your experience should be a pleasant one. That’s my job.

Historically, I have been on the consumer side of multiple residential real estate transactions, but it was not until I became a Realtor that I fully understood the immense detail that is involved behind the scenes. The maze of potential issues involved in a real estate transaction – water rights, easements, surveys, encroachments, inspections and contingencies to name just a few – can be confusing. Downright complicated. Being knowledgeable about each property and knowing every aspect of the transaction is a continuous process that does not end until the closing table. Moral of the story … leave no stone unturned.

Of necessity, my part of the journey must start even before you, the buyer, express interest in a particular property in Ravalli County. It starts with me being thoroughly familiar with my Bitterroot Valley Market and is a persistent, ongoing discovery process with each particular parcel.

If you are the seller, my goal is to know your property as well as you – better than you – in order to convey accurately all pertinent information to a potential buyer. To give you appropriate tools to make an accurate assessment of your home’s value in the current market.

The accomplishment of bringing an informed, willing and able buyer or an informed, willing and able seller to the closing table – both sides in the case of dual agency – is extremely satisfying. I feel I have done my job correctly. With integrity.

The fact that I was born in Maryland to loving parents, was raised with the crustaceans on the tidal waters of the Chesapeake Bay, was a professional caretaker/trainer of benevolent horses, moved to Montana in 1978, have been married to my talented husband, Barry, for over forty years, am the mother of five exceptional men, friend to three loving ‘daughters,’ grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren, and have had the privilege to work with my knowledgeable Broker, Priscilla Toliver, at Realty 2000 for many years … is significantly important too.

Contributed immensely to who I am as a person and a Realtor.

Kindly, Jeri
