As an Intervention Specialist for Horizon Science Academy Columbus High School, I work with adolescents with mild-to-moderate disabilities including learning disorders, Autism, and intellectual disabilities. I believe that all children can--and have a desire to--learn. My goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of at-risk children and adolescents with emotional/behavioral disorders.
I have a strong interest in behavior, so I am currently pursuing a post-graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis through Saint Joseph's University. I received a Master of Arts in Teaching, Special Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching, Elementary Education from Liberty University in 2014 with the honor of Graduate with Distinction. Prior to that, I received a Bachelor of Science, Psychology from Liberty University in 2011 with the distinguished honor of Magna Cum Laude. I completed a year's worth of doctorate courses in Clinical Psychology (emphasis in Forensics) at Walden University in 2012 with a 4.0 GPA.
